UARX Space was chosen by Radian Systems to provide their expertise, aiming to help upscale the Radian Alpha software for Thermal Analysis. The collaboration frame is established as a Technology Partnership Agreement for Technical Cooperation.
UARX Space is developing a vehicle capable of providing space transportation services to non-traditional orbits. In addition, UARX Space offers efficient engineering services through all the mission phases, provided by professionals of the traditional space and small satellites industry.
Radian Systems is developing a software solution to offer the best thermal analysis tool to its customers. Radian Alpha is undergoing an extensive test campaign on which they were looking for collaborations with experts in the field. Radian's objective is to ease access to thermal analysis for space companies and institutions, making use of today's technologies to provide a seamless, agile software that spans from the first conceptual design to the actual mission.
As part of the Technical Cooperation between the parties, UARX Space will add value by providing the cumulative expertise and high degree of knowledge on both thermal and mission analysis, also providing insights about software security and usability.
Once these activities conclude, Radian Beta is expected to be widely available for commercialization, in yet another step towards easing and widening access to thermal analysis in space.
